Donna,
I did a bunch of wet petunia shots this past summer - the texture and drape of wet petunias are wonderful. My petunias were white so at times they were transparent...
The detail in the drops here are wonderful - good work.
After Christmas, I am sending in my macro lens to be rechipped for my new camera - I can't wait for summer - this inspires me -

Donna; this is an incredibly rich, colorful, vibrant image with almost unbelievable water drops-- great detail, and I love the background. It's my guess that you composed this using the viewfinder of your G5, and when you shoot close-ups the viewfinder does not show what you're actually going to get, so it's best to compose with the LCD screen for close-ups. My Olympus C5050 does the same thing. Anyway, it left the composition just a bit static I think. But still, the colors carry this picture. Nice shot. Cheers. Craig

Donna I like the color version better.Thank you for you comment on the ducks, You said you were trying to catch birds in action, look in my portfolio for the picture birds in flight.Parakeets (Budgies) its retty cool and easy o do if you , know someone that has some.
