Gayle,
Well, you had asked me a couple weeks ago to peruse your images and find one I like; I found many, but I will start here.
This photograph brings me into the fall season, which is my favorite season of the four.
This shot allows me to see into layers of this past year, the year for the elements in this shot, and my own past year.
I have planted Aspen's this year, photographed my son in the rain, and started a water garden, among many other things.
Along with my own journey this image evokes, this scene also allows me to feel the moment it was captured. I can feel the cool air, hear the rain hitting the water, and feel the surface tension around the Aspen leaf.
How you captured my last year in one shot is miraculous, amazing!

This is a great shot Gayle!Love the drops hitting the puddle and the colorful little leaf soaking and melting away. Good stuff!

Hi Gayle,
Just me. I thought I would take a close look at your stuff and really like this one. I am a point and shot type of guy and don't have photo this or that but if I came upon this scene, I would definitely point my camera down and take a shot.

Hi Gayle-Love this shot which reminds me of a color version of some of Paul Strand and Edward Weston's work, both admirable artists with camera. Keep up the good work and post often what you do, good and bad. Have a great holiday!
