I have just seen this Roger. Nice seeing you. You've got shorter hair than John Dittrich:)) I remember one of your comments on his self, you said you've got the same hair as he has, but you guys look alike, amazing.

Roger,
Mind you, this is a fabulous picture..I never get to do this..pictures of me, I don't see as pictures of me, just some guy, and as my wife says: "You write books and take pictures and you don't work for any kind of rodent-control agency, so quit the self-portraits". Well she knows dick about photography but has the habit of being right..

Its good to know that the pictures from the Canon-300D are so good, because I would like to buy me also one, but here in Germany it is not available at the time, maybe with good luck in January.
Are you content with the lense 18-55mm ?
