Hi Heather :) now this makes me so sad, looks so much like my Old barkley, who has long since passed on :( and by the way, enjoy many of your photos, have book marked you to go through more throughly tomorrow ...:)
The B&W has a classic pet portrait look to it, but I like the colour, for as Mary Sue said, It's fun! Looks like an interesting face to get to know with your camera!
Fun pic! In this case I think I prefer the color because in the BW his muzzle is very close (in tone) to the pillow. If the pillow were slightly lighter in tone (but not the same as the top of Chester's head), the BW might be the strongest. EITHER case, this Chester looks like one cool dog. Great catch.
