Great scene. I like it because it looks ordinary, by this i mean the majesty of the scene is not forced. Notcing all your Fuji-san photographs I am wondering if you live near Fuji-san.

Great composition. The lovely side lighting of the goose brings life and leads one's eyes into the photo.

Is this the ugly duckling that discovered it was a swan? It's unusual to have a bird with motion blur in a tranquil shot of Mt. Fuji like this, reflected in a lake, but it works surprisingly well. The placement of the bird is just perfect. This could equally well have gone into the "Decisive Moment" project, as I doubt the bird held that pose for more than a second or two. Well captured!

Hi Craig, It seems your photos get better with every new posting! Very good composition! Love these views of Mount Fuji..... The wings of the swan show some motion blur, which I'm not sure about wether it suits the photo or not. Just can't decide.... Superb composition, my compliments!
Cheers,
Hugo
