About	This was taken while I was on a fieldtrip course (part of my degree). I thought, at first look, that the dam was a bit overpowering but when I rethought my rationale for taking the picture, that's exactly the impression I was going for. I think I cheated and put my camera on auto f-stop (shame on me), but I had to make sure the picture worked since I needed it for my report. Is it over the top?

Not over the top at all....good exposure and nice lighting....the horizon is tilted down to the right but you can fix that in your photo editor....as John mentioned the bottom right corner is a bit distracting but it is neccessary to be there to ground the damn.....nice job Dawn

Think it's fine. Good light, clouds and composition. The only distraction to my eye is the lower right-hand corner. That's being very picky though. Good shot.
