Hi Angelo, I'm glad you liked the flower's texture. It was one of the reasons for taking the picture. I can't recall why I didn't consider a portrait view. Tunnel vision?!
I haven't uploaded an image in a while. I guess I need to retrain myself. I couldn't figure out how to upload the image without distorting it. Does it really appear much smaller than the other images? On my computer it seems a bit smaller but not much.

What a beautiful flower, Dawn. I love the colour, and the little lines and textures on its petals.
In your about you talk about trying to avoid a pipe, and yet wanting to exclude the leaf on the other side. If I could make a sugestion, it would be to rotate the camera do the "portrait" orientation, and perhaps include the flower above it, too.
Still, the inclusion of that leaf is not such a blemish and it is a beautiful photo, that deserves more comments than it's had. Perhaps it is because the uploaded image is so small? (only 400 x 270)
