About I stopped my car and stepped out while passing by this rural house. The moon above, a tree in front ; it flickers its lights like the archetype of "your place" where you rooted your life.

Yes Mike. That's it, the ladder on the roof is to help plow the snow for when it gets too heavy.

Exposure was good in this. Looks to be twilight & the Christmas lights & natural light in harmony. We don't get as much cold & snow here as you. Do the steps on the roof have anything to do with clearing snow?

Nice mood, this looks like the typical rural farmhouse. It would be nice in the summer to sit on the front porch. I like the blue tones, much as a black and white that has been blue toned. Don.

I find a lot of harmony in this picture. To me the lighting is OK as it is natural, I like blue and bluish :)

Christian, don?t thank me for my comments! I am on the receiving part. You have put so much time - something which is the most valuable and restricted thing in our lives - in commenting to me. And I have a feeling that you really look at my pictures, not just throw a comment. To be honest - I don?t deserve that much attention ...!

A very nice setting. The house seems to have a blue tint in some areas that are white. Looks like a tough time of day to get the best lighting. Still very well done.
