querida ana,
you have such a good eye and instinct for the view out (to the sea). in that direction the wide view (total) is adequate. not so the other way. here you stayed much too far away for making a picture. a cut for a few deatils could have made a real picture justifying your title. where is the halo effect from, btw?

I would suggest concentrating more on the boats in the foreground. The halo over the distant landscape is for me distracting.

A foto é muito bonita, lá isto é! O céu, aparentemente foi melhorado no PS. Nestes casos eu faço a camada de contato com o céu original usando apenas 50% da tinta, para criar uma transição mais natural. E lembre-se o céu mais escuro não deve acompanhar o contorno inferior.

I don't care for the halo effect on this one. To me, the natural colors might be enough. The power lines in the left top could be eliminated. I think your picture really is just the boats and that bit of flotsam in the foreground so a tighter crop might produce a stronger image. (IMHO)
