I'm always trying "looking straight up a tree" shots but I've never achieved one that looks like this. It's very cool! I like how the branches of the tree mimic the break in the clouds - it really pulls the photograph together. The exposure is not bad, though it's starting to get a little hot towards the right. It would also be nice to see the branches a bit sharper. Still, it's the composition that makes this photo eye-catching and I'd say you hit the nail right on the head with that. :-)

This kind of shot can easily get very boring for me. I'd say this one isn't. You may want to cut down on the amont of yellow in the cyan and the blues and also cut down on the magentas in the whites (using "Image>Adjust>Selective color" in PS).
The composition is busy but somehow organized thanks to the thicker branches. Overall, quite ok aesthetically. Not bad.
