Thanks for your comments about the SF panorama. I have noticed the "orangey" look (which you so clearly spotted) on only two sets of pictures taken with my TX-1. Both were on rolls of film that went through the airport X-ray machines. They claim "no effect" on films under 1000 ISO, but I wonder... I never get this feeling on shots taken wholly inside Japan. And as for the slightly over-exposed center, well, we're probably seeing the effects of compensation (by yours truly) for slight UNDER exposure of the corners. The cosine-law fall-off, y'know. AKA "vignetting." There is a ridiculously expensive center filter that compensates for this at the effective cost of a whole stop of film sensitivity in the central area. That hurts on an F/4 lens! But it looks as if I'll have to get one... I have a software filter that works fairly well with PSP, but forgot to use it on this shot. I was stopped so far down it SHOULDN'T have needed it.
