Jay, I have loved your work since day one. Your photos tell such dark, wonderful stories. This one, to me, is about being together, even in death. Lonely and quiet, yet full of togetherness.
I love pictures in graveyards for some reason, but they have to have zest and I think these certainly do. This is a classic! I love your work Jay. ~mandy
"there's nothing so precious as a hole in the ground" interesting how the words have to come from three tombstones to have substance. maybe the story isn;t complete wihtout all the family members?
