So super!! Again, such fantastic old feeling and extremely well composed! The man's expression is so strong, I really love it! And the blurry woman in background really pulls the trigger to make my brain start fantasising! She looks like a widow... perhaps just lost someone... and the man is a mafioso ;-)) and his expression says that he will find the one who murdered his beloved sister's husband!

Yes, but somehow the harshness of the light makes me think of the hard life he must have as a farmer, the hard work, the disappointments... but it looks as if it is a face that knows how to smile, too. Very rich and moving portrait!

La bellezza e la delicatezza con la quale sai rendere vive nei ricordi questi volti che appartengon al passato fieri, orgogogliosi, fa si che nulla possa essere affidato al commento ma solo alla memoria.
l'ho appena pulita un pochino e contrastata un pò per eliminare i grigi. mi auguro ti piaccia. (spero che Tu non me ne voglia se l'ho fatto senza chiederti il permesso nelle mie intenzioni era solo esplicitare la volontà a "lavorare a quattro mani".

A tough subject to make with the extremes in contrast but it turned out very well. The details are very nice and the focus is spot on. The position of the woman in the bakground is almost symbolic. Amazing to see that people in those days dressed far more fromal than nowadays. Congratulations, Antonella, very good work. Regards, Rob.
