This has all the makings of a good catch and composition. The overall funnel shape repeated three times: the brocade material, the position of the arms and hands, the draping of the white robe. The beautiful hands and the face of the subject showing a great deal of the subject: age, concentration, skill, lifetime craftmanship. And of course the striking contrast of cultures and fashion mixed: the traditional head dress and habit, the discreetly visible mordern shirt and cufflings, the plastic glasses. Definitely holds interest. From the technical point of view I think the background does not add anything, it rather distracts. It would have been nice to see details of the white robe.
