Hi lori, Although I do like flowers, I think these kind of photos have a lot more to offer. They are also more challenging to a photographer... I like this scene. The inclusion of the lamp in the composition pulls it out of the ordinary. The light through the dirty glass gives a great effect. As for the compostion, I think that if you'd captured a bit of the pole of the lantern as well, the composition would've been a bit more balanced, but the DOF is excellent, as are the colours.... great tonal range! If not for the speedboat in the distance, it would've been a timeless shot. None the less a very good photo, but mind the tilt in the horizon...;o)

This is a dificult shot,the boat sailing... the details are perfect, Lori.. but the horizon behind...I can?t understand...
