This is a wonderful image. It is very well composed. I like the way you have cropped it. The tones are excellent. The whole image emanates serenity and silence. One would just love to be there and watch the snowflakes.

Tim - This is superb. I like the B&W rendering. I think your composition and cropping is perfect. My eye is drawn to the tree but then back into the scene to explore texture and light. Had thetree been un-cropped at the top with sky showing, the eye would not drop back into the light tones of the field. The grainy feel produced by the falling snow adds another dimension to this image. Personally, this goes to my favorites.
Regards - Bill

This could have been a poster worthy image had the tree not been cropped so tightly. I would have composed the shot so that you could see just above the tree. Your eye immediately goes to it and the cropping makes me uncomfortable and takes away from the serenity of the scene.
Despite that it's a great capture. Lots of texture. The snow makes the shot seem grainy which I like. Well done!
