Hi Emgy,
Could it be that I have not seen your portfolio? Can't believe I have never wandered over to it! I'll check it our more tomorrow, (getting late and have been glued to the computer)....but I can see just from the thumbnails I'm going to LOVE it...You do 'my kind' of stuff!! I liked the crop you did on my picture ,as a matter of fact i have exposed a frame exactly like that,but i posted this photograph with the extension as it had a little different lighting 7 is a part of the main building,thanks,cheers,Subhash.

Dear Emgy, Debra, I did not buy the nikon D70 yet..at $1299.00 I will have to save up for a while! the nice salesperson let me try it out at the store and it was a real thrill to try such a magnificent camera...best regards....jon ps: I already have 2(fuji-s5000 & Minolta A1) digital cameras, but I really want this one bad enough almost to trade my right arm for it! what should I do??? Hi Emgy, Very intriguing abstract. I like the texture and the use of light to create a organic structure from a lifeless object. Very well done, and a very good (well balanced) composition. Maybe another object with a different contrasting colour would have created a bit more tension, but that is neglectible. The "1" suggests there's more to come.... Looking foreward to it!

A raincoat?......it rains in The Netherlands? :)
Feels like I'm inside a volcano with lava flowing over my feet. I like the saturation and the way you took the contrast right to the edge of burnout. Emgy, this has a really good design to it.....and has a floral sense too.

Mike. You can't find the raincoat cause I photographed it in close-up and the only thing visible is some folds. The light source is natural. We had an exceptional sunny morning inbetween the many rainy days. The sunlight getting in from the window made the colour of the raincoat appear very nice, that day.It's the reason why I decided to take a shot of it. The folds made for some beautiful shadow work.

wonderful emgy I would of thought it was a landscape, worlds within worlds. I am sure to an ant that is what it is like...someone wanted to buy the 300D for what I paid for it and I was getting a little paid photo work so I upgraded to the 10D, it has some more functions I wanted and it is very well built. I was very happy with the 300D...the 28-135 I find to be a very good alround lens...and it do has macro ability. Canon are bringing out a new lens 28-300...rog
