Near Ormstown, Quebec, in the spring of the year, that is March, there is always a tendency towards flooding. This view is of a field in such a condition at about 8:30am showing a mist in the distance and a temporary lake that was being used by Canada geese that had just made an appearance after their winter sojourn in the south. Please note that the camera was in fact Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital. I could not get the image to upload onto the portfolio by filling in the Camera and lens splaces, but they worked by usefilm the ready made specs. Something is not working with this site now since the renovation.
Thanks for your encouraging comments, Alan. I had come to appreciate them so much and was missing them. This is a beautiful, moody shot, and it's a shame that those bright clouds were a bit too much for the dynamic range of the film. I don't suppose there's enough density in the negative to be able to "burn" them in a little with PhotoShop? Love the reflections and the composition. Thanks for the explanation, which puts it in context.
