I had a look at both sunset pictures, both are really beautiful.. and I can see how magical the view is. But personally, I prefer this one, as the colours here are stronger and the contrast is perfect..

Phil,
it sure felt superb! I shot about half a roll, as the light was chenging every second. I've got another one that is more blue-ish. Also very nice and I couldn't choose wich one to post. That one has more subdued light and can be seen here:

Wonderful golden tones. I think people get bored of sunsets because they look 10 times better for real than when captured on film... so you really have to be there.... this image is great so it must have been quite something to see!!

It is a fantastic sunset Jeroen, some people don't like sunsets and others cannot get enough of them. I'm one of the latter people ;-) But this one is one of the best I have seen, it is an incredible sky.
