More here than meets the eye -- and plenty meets the eye. The frame is an excellent idea.

I have not seen the other side. Interesting stories and myths surround it though. One is that it housed some disenfranchised maori who bulit the road going out along the peninsula that this is at the base of. Some from a famous passive resistance movement (at parihaka)on the North Island of New Zealand who got arrested and sent south here. There is debate amongst those I have spoken to as to wether it was locked from the outside or not. i.e. there is debate as to wether they were imprisoned in it.

Brave man.
Mmmm I see what you mean. But then I may also have...excuse me (AuHsEeMd! CpOhUoGtHoCsOhUoGpH!) to bend the lines of exposure a bit to darken it somewhat in the middle ranges of tone to bring out the dimples on the pink bits.

WHAT'S ON THE OTHER SIDE, MAN????? Come on!!! Ya must have opened it...or at least looked!!! This is driving me nuts..."Melon..." (Did it open??---ok, Lord of the Rings try) Very well done..even if it is an artsy sepia tone...which brings me to this...
THANKS!!!! You suggested I put that stump in BW and I had to drink a ton of beer to get up the nerve. I don't like the pic...but the beer part was brilliant, brilliant I tell's ya!!
