I can never tire of snow nor those old former East German cars the Trubant. Surprisingly Budapest is the place to go in search of a Trubant or 2 million. At a time I think every one who could afford one had one of these interesting, but much ridiculed cars. This one was taken just near to where I lived in the hills of Buda.
Interesting what you say about the Indian car the Ambassador Alan. They are a wonderful car and I have road about in them on several occassion in India. I have some good shots of them, but none with me unfortunately. I heard that they were based on the old Mirros, but what you say meybe more researched than I. I visited an Ambassador showroom in Calcutta in 1993 - car on large rotating pedestal etc.
Mad car! Great shot!! They have something similar in India called the Ambassador which is pretty much based on or actually IS the old english Oxford...I think! I remember reading in a classic car magazine that a lot of Englishmen actually import them from India as they still manufacture them there. Don't know how far it's true. Maybe someone will see this post and let us know! :) I've never seen one of these before though! They look pretty insane. Love the snowy scene! Cheers Alan
