You are probably correct... a white passe partout (matting) with a thin pencil like frame... would do it.
I am in contact with an Egyptian living in Paris who has a boat that apparently belonged to one of your past presidents... to cruise up the Nile... also thinking if St Catherines... and many other sites... Including the Mosque in Cairo (can not remember the name, but will ask her)that was restored by a Jewish female benefactor (who also founded http://cca.qc.ca/table.asp?lang=eng to house her collection). Any suggestions most welcome... as would do the sojourne in the spring... Lawrence

I did a quick search for captures in Egypt... as am thinking of making a trip... and here I am... at certainly one of the jewels...
Suggest that there is a need for some crop... adjust the levels... and create some negative space...
Who knows this viewer may one day one day stand in the same spot and click... likewise...
NB you have noted BW film which may be erroneous... but what am I to say... being colour blind... <:-)

yes,this is in Egypt, (Masr, cairo) in Ibn Tolon mosque , one of the greatest monument in EGypt.samar
