These are unusal looking birds...You got a great shot of him... I am getting into taking bird shots but gosh its hard to get close enough with out makin em fly off. I hope to get some yellow birds today in the yard... I like this its elegant ....Robert... thank you for your comments and the kitty perspective lesson as I had just read that but am not sure how to make it so it would appear like she would see it just yet on photoshop but I will figure it out lol...

dag robert,ik benhet met willem eens,komt de foto meer tot zijn recht,maar niet te min dit is weer een practige prent van jouw de vogel lijkt een beetje on wennig op zijn poten te staan
ik kom vanavond terug met een serie van 5 over (the band)anders wat je van mij gewend bent

I agree with you Willem. There were just so many things happening all around and I left the camera on auto so that I wouldn't miss anything. When I saw that the bird was drying its wings I sat and waited for another shot - which of course never happened again.
