Rosana... you can upload as an attachment as it doesn't count as your picture... just so you know.

Stuart... sorry for that awful manip of your pic... I just wanted to mimic what someone might try to see if it would upload. (my attachment looks awful! hahahaha that's what you get when you do this from work! oops!)

As for the image... you know that the background is a little distracting and the bird isn't quite in focus, but I think for spotting this and pulling over while driving you managed a pretty good shot. The light on the tail feathers is especially nice. Perhaps if you darken the bg so the bird really stands out? In Photoshop it's a fairly easy thing to magic wand around the bird, inverse the selection and then use the levels tool to darken the bg slightly. I'm not a PS whiz and it's something that I can handle!
Keep shooting, keep posting... it's great to have the chance to help people who really want constructive crits!

Rosana, can't you just upload as an attachment... under the comment box there is a place to add an attachment. As far as I know it doesn't count as your picture for the day. (in fact, I'm going to test that right now... sorry for using your photo Stuart to test this...I made some changes so it looks different and is the under the max. size for an attachment)

Unbelievable action shot! Wonderful detail. Congrats. Too bad the background wasn't all the green bushes instead of the buildings. Thanks for sharing! (7)
