About Ilford SFX 200 Infrared shot at 800iso with Cokin Red filter developed in ID-11 18min @ 68? printed on Forte Polywarmtone Semi-mat.
This image was up this afternoon but after a comment by Phil Mclean I looked again on a friends monitor saw that it needed some work. After recalibrating my monitor I took it down for some final adjustments, this is the FINAL version. SORRY about that Phil!

Kardi

I have tried to adjust it in PS to get the burned out parts of the face to a more acceptable level but then the rest of the image suffers. Even after masking out the highlighted parts and burning them I felt that the image just didn't "look" right.

I think it might be just another aspect of the SFX 200 pushed to 800 and the red filter. I'm working with a new model and some SFX to see if that's it. I'll be posing some images from that shoot soon. I'll give you a heads up when I do, love to have your opinion.

wow, this is absolutely different. great composition and dramatic look. magic, powerful eyes... but some areas on face are too white ("burned out"), is this intentional?

regards,
and thanks for your comments :)
