About	Venice Beach, CA. An artist painted this mural as a tribute to Vincent Van Gogh. "Starry Night" is probably Van Gogh's most famous painting. He painted it while he was in asylum for erratic behaviors. Unlike most of Van Gogh's works done from outdoors, "Starry Night" was painted only from his memory.

This is an excellent tribute, from both you and the muralist. Vincent is my favorite painter. I don't understand though, why people think that painting from memory is unusual. When I used to draw, I drew much from memory.
