Great moment and superb image. What strikes me beyond the first sight is the inversion in the perception. I could easily imagine a fire with the flames having the same shapes as the branches of the trees set againt a black background - a fire in the night, for example. What I see here is like the negative of this. Very intriguing.
Also, the exposure has allowed for the subtle low cloud formations to be seen in the upper part of your photography. Another fine element.
