This picture has such bright colors and great details. I just find that you need a little more DOF to get the whole bug and little more of the flower in focus.

Giannis, thanks for your comment. The DOF is narrow indeed, and it doesn't give me much freedom.
I use a makeshift macro lens as described here (http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/93060), and to get a subject in focus I have to place the camera just a couple of cms away. It's not easy to get right, I tell you! :)
