About One more from this lovely patch of Phlox. This time I used the Hasselblad XPAN for the Panoramic format. I used a tripod to steady the begining of a long exposure 1.5 seconds or so.. I left it still for about a second and then slowly panned up till the expoure stopped. I'm thrilled with the result!

Yes, this is beautiful, although I couldn't have guessed how it was produced... nice to visit your portfolio again, John. It's been a while... I've been getting too busy earning a living to really enjoy Usefilm.

Very good results indeed. Xpan is a fun format, and panning is a good idea with all these vertical structures. One thought could be to pan downwards to create a stronger sense of "lift" in the flowers. I like the slight angle in the line where the flowers end and the forest takes over.

Way to pan the pan John. If I ever get back into film it will be because of this camera.

Beautiful symmetry and movement-your X-Pan shots are wonderful.
The colors have come out so vibrant too.

Another Johan Barclay image and lesson that went to my favourite folder!

John, thank you for sharing your photographic secrets, recipes and skills. You are an inspiration to me!

This image has a beautiful dreamy effect and the beauty of it is that it is done with the camera and not with PS filters. That makes it a masterpiece in my book.

One day, hopefully, I will be able to do something as great as this work. Well done!

Very nice result John. To achieve this on Velvia 50 is very clever I think. Thumbs up.
