Micky, thank you for your comments. It appeared soft to me as well so I adjusted some of the lighting in Ulead Photo and posted the results next to this one. It's interesting that your eye was drawn to the bottom of the frame. I'm guessing that will be true of others as well. I was actually focusing on the petal in the middle (which goes again the rule of thirds)but I was trying to show it 'among the crowd. I can now see where the bottom portion is more in focus and the lighting draws attention to it. Thanks for writing and sharing. Rodney

Hi Rodney,nice symetry and lovely soft colours,nice light but in my opinion it is all a bit too soft,I would have thought at F5 it would have been sharper,also your point of interest is right at the bottom of the frame try to get it on one of the thirds to make a strong impact.This is just my opinion which I hope will be of help to you.Keep up the good work.
