City - Insadong State - SEOUL Country - South Korea
About
A rather creative approach to demonstration which took my surprise in Seoul last year. It still appears that Korea dumps it's nuclear waste where it pleases. This is not surprising from the attitude of most people and the city councils when it comes to ordinary rubbish. Bags of it are left everywhere and an overall image of careless neglect takes over. There is still a third world element pressent in this first world country. A friend of mine calls Korea "a one and half world country". A most popular dumping site and I mean very popular as its totally everywhere is to put rubbish and broken building material between buildings - that is the narrow gaps between the buildings. Koreans have such a "sweep it under the carpet" attitude to waste!
