About This is my favorite lamp post, it probably is to alot of dogs which get a walk in the park each day. At night it is lit and creates quite a mood to this Victorian era park. A small room at the base of the rotunda once was the home to the North Fitroy Women's Lawn Bowling Club, segregated from the plush men's club. Eventually they were able to build their own club rooms in the 1960s, but it since has closed down and mereged with the Men's Lawn Bowlling Club.
