Hi Maarten, thanks for your comment. Indedd, the image may be better if the depth of focus were smaller. However, I had to use manual focus, and I found it quite hard to operate in this mode, having only a small LCD to judge the focus. So, given the fact that the scenes were changing quite fast, I chose a small aperture to ensure that the subject was in focus. It may be possible to achieve a blurred background using Photoshop, but I did not consider that worth the effort as I found the background not really distracting.

The leg is indeed the most interesting part. Would be better if the rest was out of focus. You see too much detail of everything around the leg.
