Can you figure out what these are? I wanted to show some of my "schoolwork" to those who have asked. This is from a black and white class. I took the picture as well as printed in the darkroom. I then scanned it. So, this picture was taken at a winery. These are for grapes.
sarah, i agree with john 100%. when i first looked at it my mind made the assumption that this was an image of crosses in a cemetery. the image was so powerful that as i looked at it longer it was obvious that it was a vinyard. the vines between the "crosses", the ridges. however, my mind still wouldn't let go of the original image. excellent work! you should definitely put this in the last project; "unusual vision".

I know what these are......but this is not what they look like. You?ve changed them....made them into symbols....made the whole picture into a symbol. I see, in my mind?s eye, Ypres, Flanders Field, OurcQ........dead soldiers-dead poets. I think it was Proust who said something about the function of the artist being to transform matter. This is a good picture, Sarah!!
