This is a nice still life and as I am burning out on nature shots, I welcome images like this. I think the light is nice because it shifts from bright to shadow subtly and looks very natural. I'd like to see you do more like this because I think you have a great eye for composition and I know you have the technical expertise with the lighting aspect, too.

I think the lighting is almost perfect, the left side of the scale does look a little blown out but thats minor, tis a gorgeous piece and I think it would work well in colour, b&w, sepia or even being more adventurous in an attempt to age it in PS, project for you maybe Sarah.

I like the shadow on the bag. I agree with Carol about trying this image in B&W or sepia. Needless to say, I'm commenting because I do like your photo.
