At this apperture and distance the depth-of-field is minimal. A tripod really helps!
This is very expressive work. Love the beautiful delicate tones and textures and shapes.
Superb!

knowing the shutter speed and close working distance .. i believe that this is an excellent macro!! you managed to get a good sharpness even at that low shutter speed!

I would say you are on the way to discovering all the artistic talents you have inherited, it shows!
Never give up exploring, from what I hear...'we NEVER arrive' there is always something new to try or learn!!
Your friend, Lori :)

My mother by birth, I understand was an artist (I'm Adopted) and I would like know that I have some of her artistic genes. I've done some work in Charcoal and Pastels but have drifted away from that type of media. I've strayed toward Photography. I like to look at this as an art form and I would like that the gene pool my mother gave me contributes toward what I photograph. I try to photograph what is pleasing to my eye, in hope that others will enjoy the beauty I see.
Thanks very much for your positive comments... Your Grateful Friend, Peter
