this guys did not get dressed for the shot we were crossing the suez canal or pulling into U.A.E. can't remember they wore this stuff all the time lose the guns most of the time, but they show offs don't get me wrong, but a hostile zone is right right after 9/11 so go figure..

i served in the army, and was a parachutist for three years. i can honestly say that i never saw aircrew kitted out like this, ever. is this standard operating procedure for US aircrew when in a hostile zone, or did these guys just dress for the occasion (the photo)? my experience in the army (when relating to or observing non-combat troops) was that there are a lot of "wannabes."

Picture portrays all that is wrong with the world. John Waynes everywhere. I find it offensive.

Dave, this is another great shot. Letting everyone know that the world is not always a safe place and that we need those who would go into harms way to protect freedom, because freedom isnt free. By the way, are they SEALS? Jim Gamble

Awesome, awesome image. I like the journalistic quality to it. I like to search a subject and shoot it in a way that is out of the ordinary...or as you have done here exactly as it should be. Well done.

I can understand their facial aspects. The experience can change us. I revaluated some, after a "meeting" with the famous (Hungarian) Gepard rifle. I was lucky to try it and lear how small and vulnerable we are. We could try it only at a practice groung, but all of us changed a bit than. I can imagine what could these two "Knights" see and experience.
Great documentary shot! Compliments. Radák 7

It always helps to add commentary to aid the viewer in understanding what you are presenting. This is a sound photo and should be explained. Keep up the good work!!!

Hey, your back Hope you had a great vacation. He he, i remeber this one, the first shot you posted on TE...I thought it was great then and i think it is great now. It is a journalistic shot that shows how the world is. Not all pink clouds, smiles and romance. This is the harsh reality. Don't be afraid to show it.
