About	Scanned from Neg. 1992. I shot these from a boat, going from Oxnard to Santa Cruz Island of the Channel Islands National Parks. There are quite a few Oil Rigs out there off the coast around these parts, between the cities of Ventura and Santa Barbara. As you drive the Highway 1 up the coast, you can see them sitting out there...

These gray days are hard to photographing, aren?t they? Yesterday, in Florianópolis, the weather was so bad...
But even so, you went out and did this good shot.

Another excellent shot. Great DoF and capture of an imposing structure. The size is quite apparent next to the floating seals.
