Death Valley National Monument, Sign, 1991. This one can be found coming in from the North-West side, coming off somewhere along Panamint Valley to the West.... well at least it was there back then, who knows it may have been replaced by one of them new ones....?
I didn't think it was there, cos they've pretty much replaced the signs in California with them boring generic metal brown ones, which is a total shame......
this one is actually already been stretched to match the 4x6 framing...... I actually had a lot more sky in it, and it looked sort of small in the frame, so I stretched the sign.......
Let's see if we can't find this one...... I think it was on the Panamint side, but I'm not sure.... it could be on the Pahrump side.......
yoshi, i remember this sign from my first trip out there. it's no longer there though. it's been replaced by the generic brown sign. although, maybe it's still there and i've missed it due to mental state. ;^) cool shot, although the bleak sky above the sign unnerves me. maybe a bit closer crop on the top would spice this up a bit.
