Hi Marty,

It is really an impressive picture... It draw my attention immediately when I saw the thumbnail... Love how you managed to capture the expression from Harry... I love the light and the color too... Congratulations for your fine work my friend...

Beautiful portrait,
I like this very much, it really shows the kindness and gentleness in this man's eyes!
(Hope I'm right) I do believe that the eyes are the window to the soul!

And I had to take a peek because my husband is a retired weatherman. MANY years at the National Weather Service.

Very nice portrait, you DID WELL!
Lori :)

Very distinguished gentleman. Nice catch lights in his eyes gives him a happy, bright look.

Hi, M.A.,
I think that if the vignetting were a different color, so that it was visible evenly (i.e. the top, too) it wouldn't seem so inconguous. Have you considered perhaps a slightly darker tone of that same color? Merely a suggestion; you can tell me to go leap off a cliff if you'd like. :-)

I agree with Gustav that your model will be quite pleased with this portrait. A handsome guy handsomely captured! The lighting and the catchlights in the eyes are spot on! Great job!

Usually only Vignett when a must, I thought all the Xtra wrinkles in the shirt distracting, so I vignetted them out

admirable lighting, great colors and composition. A fine looking gentleman who will certainly be happy with this portrait. Rating: 6,8
PS.
I am not so keen on the vignetting in the lower part of the picture...but this of course is your personal style. No intention to offend you with this remark. It is just my opinion.
Kind regards,
Gustav
