Thanks for the input! The angle was an attempt to increase the dimensionality... I was more concerned with creating a DOF difference between the petals than seeing all of the flower's nucleus.

Very beautiful flower, and nice B&W tones with great detail and good shallow focus.
The angle is a bit poor, though, with those bottom petals somewhat blocking the view of the flower's center.
