Beautiful! The image has many hooks in it...technically I love it, even the outoffocusness of the lady. The mentioning she is actually your grandma spoils the effect a bit, I have to say, if you hadn't said anything about who the subject is, this would have left a great deal of mystery and wondering in me. However, on the other hand I am sure you're taking good care of her, and this is reassuring...
Deep picture! Alberto

one of the most used software bundles in windows... solitaire, the game of the lonely that become even lonelier by playing it... very nice snapshot.... it's focal approach confirms the atmosphere

Hehehehehehehehee this is great.....
Roman Polanski used to frame his subjects just like this, to make the audience crane their necks sideways to try and see around the door or the corner..... that was his way of evoking discomfort in the viewer, to make them off-balance, as it were, adding to the suspence and tension of the scene......
I just wish you hadn't told me she's playing solitaire though..... hehehehehe

I love the composition of this shot but I feel the focus is just a bit too soft...I think the focus is actually on the door and not on Gma and this is a big loss with this shot as it doesn't show the true expression of the Lady. But good shot anyway...
