About As You May Or May Not Like It...

She was just a child
With hair of golden yellow
Always wearing a smile
And her blue eyes twinkling a Hello

She ran around, as most children do
Always getting herself into mischief
She was with a wide-eyed grin
A tiny dimple showing in her chin

Following her grand-mother around
Asking questions about this and that
Wondering everything to the ground
A curiosity kitten cat

She was just a child
Unbidden, free and wild
Innocence in the eyes
A girl who wanted to fly

I like the relaxing colours, the soft shadows and the horizontal crop, it gives a sense to the story. Thanks for your kind words in your comment to me, I?m very busy and tired now, but I?ll go on posting, only it will be very difficult to answer your comments, even if I will always help who needs. Bye Max

This picture is going in my favorites,I love the scene, the grandma and the child ,how the table and chairs are arranged, the green tones, the depth, the atmosphere...but that all works twice as strong, with that poem, which one must love...
Regards,Ursula

Nice atmosphere, I like the almost monotone appearance.

A nice scene, with a good story being told. The empty chairs are very strong in comparison to the distant people which have just left the scene.
