Thanks Dirck for the comments, I looked back at the original of the flowers and I hadn't caught the tops, it was windy and they were constantly moving, Are you thinking of going to Guate. for Xmas.? Alison

Striking colors, especially against that desaturated background! Like Neal, I like the gentle diagonal of the flower stalks. I don't think it suffers from having the tops cut off - to get all of that, you would have had to back up and/or shoot it vertically. I like it as it - especially the bumblebees!

Very pretty colors. I like how you removed the color in the background. I like the composition too. There are the diagonal lines of the plant stems at right angles to a line along the top of the blossoms which makes for excellent balance. Perfect cropping. I love it.

Potentially a very good photo. The crop is awkward. Had you included the top of all three bloom stalks this would look more balanced.
