About Houston?s Downtown Aquarium as I passed by late one night coming back from the Texas Medical Center. We were doing about 60 MPH and never thought I even got a pic but I like the effect that I got. Any comments are welcome.

Wow, this is awesome Stuart. Excellent portfolio.

I see you have gone through some of my work also. You might also like my photographic buddies work. We often go out together and take photos. You can view his work here....

Thanks, this was the one shot that I thought would be the crapiest but it turns out all the other shots that I thought would be great turned out crappy. This one was just an accident as the camera banged against the window which I guess caused the neat effect.

I missed this the first time around !

Fabulous effect and the colours are wonderful. I love visiting aquariums but my photos always turn out rubbish !

I will have to go and try again :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Thanks, now that you mention it I do recall you explaining how the shots were done in the "about" area of your pix. I guess I figured there was no way for me to get a shot like this so mainly paid attention to your fantastic work rather than how you did it. I bet you get asked that question allot....
Thanks again.
Regards,
Stuart.

Stuart,i've written many times that i use a lightweight suction cup made by Cullmann to secure the camera - it can be mounted on any flat surface. as for shaky suspensions,i bet i have a bigger problem in my pug than you have in the 540 - thats why the light trails in my nightrides are never smooth and straight :-P
i'm sure you'll come out with great images soon!
regards,
kostas

Well thanks. Before this shot I took a bunch of the moving car and streetlights trying to get a similar effect like your shots but had no luck at all.... so how are you securing the camera to the car. Also, how are you getting the inside shots, I was in a 540I and the sport suspension was really shaky. I tried securing the camera to the dash and it just looked like a freakin mess ?. LOL

Thanks,
Stuart.

Thanks Stefan, I don?t know how this happened either ? I kept trying to focus though the dark tinted windows in the car and was having no luck but as we passed the focus finally locked :-)since we were moving so fast I was in a panic to get the shot ? as I snapped it I also banged the lens of the G5 up against the window so maybe that?s how I got it ? how knows.
