Nee hoor Jo, beslist niets persoonlijks! Ik vroeg om aanwijzingen en heb ze gekregen en zal er hopelijk aan denken, wanneer ik weer eens een onderwerp in de schaduw fotografeer met zon in de verte

Dank je wel Teunis. Het zal toch wel meevallen, hoop ik, met die Jo en de achtergrond is ook wel een beetje vreemd. Ik heb geprobeerd om hem weg te Shoppen, maar dat werd helemáál niets. Die prachtige Hooglander wilde niet ergens anders gaan staan, ook al heb ik hem dat heel beleefd gevraagd ;-)

Indeed a nice head :-)
I don't think the focus is the cause, but the bright light and dark regions in the background. It's not always possible to control this completely of course, but you could try to look for a less contrastful background next time...

I agree, Jo. That's why I've hesitated to post this photo on UF. But I like the head of this Scottish Highlander so much ;-) And besides, I hope someone can tell me how I have to focus my camera next time to get a less "present" background
