About The Nile River in the old days was used as the highway that joined Egypt together. Up until the 19th century, travel by land was virtually unknown. Since there are no forests in Egypt, wood was brought from Lebanon. Acacia was used in lower Nubia to build the boats that transported granite for the construction of pyramids.
Today, the "Felucca"; a small open sail boat; is a common mode of transporting people and goods on the Nile.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition avec la felouque qui a la voie ouverte entre les deux rives qui ferment l'image.

I like the b&w version. It would probably be even better if you croped out the buildings on the top.
Thank you for the oportunity to learn more about your beautiful country! :)

Khaled, they are both beautiful, the B/W possibly adds less distractions and allows us to concentrate on the boat and story more, yet the colored one is beautiful with lots of beautiful color changes in the water and mast. A lot of help I am. Alison

Very good tones and lighting. The details are good. A horizonal crop might have worked better IMO>

Very nice composition, Khaled! I like your use of b/w in this one. Seems to fit, somehow, given the history of the boats.
