given the symmetry of the gradient created w/ the sun and clouds, i felt a centered "dead on" shot was appropriate. thank you for your comment.

I don't like composition down center, I prefer moving offsite. It's not the "Last Supper". If you look at most composition guides, they recommend positioning offcenter for movement and dynamism. But rules are always with exceptions.

I love the shot (such a romantic) but I would crop it down a bit to focus on the couple - the archit. is nice but destracting to the focal point. I use black borders a lot on this site because of the white background. I also like the effect it had on this particular photo. See my example below.

very cheezy but i like it... what would i change? if you are already working on the PS then i would try to get rid of those 3 lights just at the left of the kissing couple. Uri.
