About	what would you change? i tried cropping it, but couldn't decide on anything. this is the original.

Naaa.. no special plug ins and there isnt this function built in (what i know of). I often do like this instead.

1. Lower the image to 760 wide (or height depending on the image).. the other will change by it self. Then you copy that image.
2. Then go to the meny and press New Image. Here you put 800 wide (or height) and the other 40 more then before (Aka.. if you had 760x540.. the new image should be 800x600)
3. Go to layers and make a new layer (in the new image).
4. Now you Paste in the image you copied to this layer. Choose background (in layer control).
5. Now you take the Pensel and raise the size and paint on the picture.. it should only be colors outside the image.. you need to choose background!

Now you have a simple frame.. =)

thanks for the suggestions!
i havn't tried b/w yet with this photo. i'll prob try that and some cropping this weekend. i liked the warmth of the light and the pose os the man.
i'm not too great with PS, is there a built in way to do frames? or is there a special plugin that i need?

This is infact a really nice composition! If you had cropped away the shadow to the left it would have been even better.. try to put a frame on it as well! Great pose and expression from that man.. have you tried to convert it to Black and White?
