Very good composition, Rebecca! I like the distinct colour bands, with the wrought iron tying it all in together. Placement of the fence in the image is perfect.

Remember Iron Butterfly? I suppose there are some of those around here to, being lured by that golden light over to the other side of the fence, where the grass is definitely greener.

I really like the simple balance of one object and very few colors. Not really an abstract, but just a small sliver of a larger imager. The style sits well with Jimmie. Very nice.

This is gorgeous with the concrete wall border at the base and the roll of golden field. The fence gently soars up to draw your eye to the lovely blue sky with one wispy cloud. See, same fence, yet totally different atmosphere. While the other, because of tones and angles, gave it a sense of foreboding, this one projects peace and tranquility. You found a beautiful escape.

Gayle, this is the same fence, just one the other side of the block. It encompasses a church that takes up an entire city block. I left early today for work, to escape, and walked a few blocks downtown close to the job. I'm glad you liked it though. It reminded me of a garden with little flowers :)

To my faves! absolutely perfectly composed,Poe..great contrast against the blue sky..the layers of colors couldn't be more perfect..love the simple intricate design of the fencing..one of many of yours that i would love to have on my wall!..i'm jealous of all the wonderful finds you have in your area!..Shameless (7+) this should make main page ;>
